It is a 2003 with around 15K on it.

Here are the upgrades:
Doohicky & spring replaced
Radiator guards
Engine guards
Aluminum engine bash plate
Magnetic oil drain plug
Center Stand
Suspension lowering links
Long and short side stand
Upgraded foot pegs
Driving lights
Upgraded light switch gear
Renthal aluminum handle bars
Bark buster and hand shields
Tall wind screen – not installed
Scott Oiler
Prevailing torque nut on counter sprocket
SS brake hose on front wheel
Luggage rack for Givi 2 side cases and mounting plate for givi tail trunk
Gel insert in seat
Upgraded waterproof fuses
Side stand bypass switch
Dunlop 606’s on it now and Avon Distanza dual sport tires 50%
Progressive fork springs
NoToil air filter
T carb vent
Optima battery
SS Fastener kit
There are more upgrades I probably can’t think of right now.

The bike runs perfect, has had oil changed every 3000. Chain & sprockets are in good shape. All bearings have been inspected and serviced and valves clearances are perfect. Never had any problem with the bike.

I’m thinking $3,000.

Here is a picture after we finished the GDR ride.

So...you're finally going to get that K12 LT you've been wanting !?

You going to throw in a free wash-job with the KLR ?

I'll put a link to this post over on KLRWorld Forums Classifieds if you want me to...

Bill,

Just curious, do you, or anyone know how low from the ground the seat can be. Also I didn't notice the asking price of the bike

The lowering links we use for the KLR were advertised as a 2" drop. We raised the forks in the clamps 2". When you sit on the bike it will squat or sag 2" to 3". With a 29" inseam I have no problem flat footing the bike when lowered. I can put both toes on the ground with the bike at normal height. The bike handles no differently when lowered you just give up ground clearance and suspension travel, but nothing drags.

$3,000
