View Full Version : Lost ability to post pics, need help!!
When I click on the little mountain, My computer makes a click sound, and does not let me post my pic. Instead it lets me leave the url of the site where the pic is stored.
like this
http://shutter02.pictures.aol.com/data/pictures/12/001/6B/DA/BE/A1/aPY2Zvh6jfaOTrXDjXsw9bTb2rYMRJLz0300.jpg
When I click on the mountain ,it still says insert image, but the form containing the url does not appear as it did before.
I've got the same equipment I've had for some time.
Anybody have any words of wisdom?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Some sites won't allow linking - I was able to fix one of yours, Dave. If you are having trouble posting a pic I will be happy to host it for you in my Smugmug account and post it up, just Email it to me.
Hey, Ab, it worked. But it's a PIA to not be able to use the little mountain feature. Any ideas as to how I can reclaim that?
Thank you for the help.

There are a couple of things you might check.
Once you load the forum post page, check the IE status bar for any indication of a "page load failed" error.
Check if you've got a popup blocker enabled on your machine. That can prevent the feature from being used.

Thanks, Ab. I'll check it out.

Now I don't care who you are...that's funny !
Arby,
I recognize the Smith Powersports sticker. What kind of bikes are in the photo? Is that an XT225 on the right?

Remember if it lasts longer than 4 hours you need to seek immediate medical attention....my question is....WHY!!!!!!! Isn't that the idea? and Why is it THAT a problem????
jb
The one on the left is a Buell. The one one the right is a well used DRZ400S. The NO FAT CHICKS bike is a KLR650
There's a bunch of WNC guys on ADVrider doing dualsport rides most weekends. You ought to check them out. Seems like all skill levels and I saw everything from a xt350 to a 950KTM.
Check out the East forum on Advrider.

I hear ya' Rog, but it should at least have an "Enable / Disable" switch for when you must go out in public, or visiting your grandmother, or in church...that sort of thing. :linzi:

Thanks Arby. It confuses me (not hard to do) since Suzuki started using Yamaha blue on their bikes.
I usually check the Ride reports and the Thumper sections on Advrider, but will check out the East Forum. Thanks.
