View Full Version : WHO is Bob Jocky?

Awright, just who is the sneaky "Bob Jocky" who crept into Dougie's Domain and planted the word that a neat new motorcycle board was up and left this URL?
Is he a mole?
Is he gay?
Is he a Gay Mole?
Could be...
That may explain the reappearance here of some familiar names from our past!
I'll probably miss someone but welcome Jeff, Dennis and Bill...and that's since Bonnie signed on this morning!
Also we have a "Brooksie" but he is remaining incognito for now.
Pardon our mess...we just moved in today and we don't have all the boxes unpacked and the furniture arranged yet, but bear with us.
And we're damned glad to have you!

Thanks, Darth. I hope I can still claim the Peckerhead honor you so generously bestowed on me. I don't mind the mess. I've been in my "new" home ten years and am still finding unopened boxes.
I like the Arlo Guthrie reference BTW. My poor wife gets to hear, "He don't want no pickle" (or nickel) every time I'm stuck in the car on a nice day and see someone riding. Apparently the phrase loses it's charm after the 900th hearing (go figure).

I just saw that post on the old board. Who's the Jocky?

Hello!
My name is Bob, but I am WAAAY too big to be a jockey!
forum name on "Dougie's Board" was tukk123
Me and my 'fastest blue '02' are spending the winter in central Florida and heading back to New Brunswick, Canada in April...getting primed for the Cape Breton TT races this September
Good luck with the Cafe!

Brooksie - Welcome!
You know, "Bob" is the fastest name!
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
And just to clear up one issue:
I AM NOT THE MOLE
I AM NOT THE GAY MOLE
I AM NOT THE "REVERSE MOLE" - aka: "Jockey Bob"

Bob, the “Reverse Mole”, cannot possibly be. Dougie told me that he could track down every “Guest” who posted on HIS BOARD. I'm sure that if one of us posted there, he would know who it is right away and erase the post.
Remember he has come up with an infallible way to prevent unwanted posters from posting. I'm sure it is all a coincidence.
Frank
PS: That is unless the “RM” is very sneaky.

Did someone notice that Mr. Motorcycle_Jocky shares Bob's first name? :D

Well, Frank...
First off, I am *NOT* "Bob Jockey"... But that said, Dougie is so full of horse-hockey as to be an equine toilet.
*ANYBODY* who wanted to post anything they liked on dougie's board could do so in the non-paying members sections and there wouldn't be a damn thing he could do about it, *AND* he wouldn't have the slightest idea of where they were coming from...
How?
Well, I already showed you one way via e-mail...
And I am going to show you another via PM a bit later today (Friday). However, I am showing you these methods just so you might be able to access various boards while you are at work... Not for me to post on Dougie's board.
BTW, I have e-mailed Doug asking him to provide me an explanation for my exile and to request my $60 back... I don't want, or need, the money. I just want to see what his reaction will be.
Cheers!

Deano- is that Elton John?
No that is BobFV1 last time he was visiting California, you know, the gay mole.

Let's just hope he is not the yet to be discovered "Gay Reverse Mole." You don't suppose there may be a "Double Agent Mole" hanging around, do you?
In any case, thank you "Motorcycle Jocky," whomever you are.
Frank
Allan,
I sent you a Private Message, mostly to test the system. But, the important thing is that I be able to access this site from work, which I can.:)
Right now, I'm happy as a clam at high tide.

First off...
Frank, I am still going to PM you here in while when I have more time to give you another couple of methods to crack your St.Bernard "net nanny" at work. They should be worth a try, at least. One I am pretty sure will work flawlessly, but of course, it is the most complex and labor intensive. However, you only have to set it all up once, so it's not so bad.
To the rest of you... And I hope I won't offend anybody here... Us folks over here at the "Motorcyclist Cafe" shouldn't be thanking anybody for announcing our presence over here just yet. Poor ol' Abhijeet and Ron don't have everything necessary set up here yet for a mass influx of new "members" (meaning non-paying ones...), and all the new faces and names - though incredibly welcome - are only making their job harder. Don't believe me? Just ask 'em...
On another note for all you "Cafe'er's" and "Peckerheads"... We need to all be careful about all this image posting for a short bit right now in the fledgling days of this new board. It could have serious ramifications for all of us if we get too wild-eyed about it. You don't race a competition machine until it is thoroughly tested... You don't if you are half-way smart, anyway... And in our giddy enthusiasm to have a new place to play we might be hurting ourselves, and others, without realizing it. We shouldn't forget how much harder it makes various tasks for Ron and Abhijeet, either.
Just FYI... Nothing more. I want everyone to feel welcome and wonderful here, but let's allow our "heavy lifters" finish their job before we make it impossible for them to do.
Cheers!

Allan,
It sounds like sage advice to me.
