I saw that this morning and was blown away. I think our little site has a lot of potential. For its small size, IMHO, at least it has an impact far and wide.

It's a very "comfortable", enjoyable place to be...occasionally big-time fun, often very informative.

It still reminds me of our weekly Peckerhead "meetings" where the only thing that diverse group has in common is motorcycles & motorcycling. We never sought growth for growth's sake there, the growth just found us as "members" brought a buddy in, a few months later that guy brought a buddy in, and so on.

There are better sites for tech info, for race fans, travel, KLRs, Beemers, most things of a specific nature...
But I've found none better for the friendship, mutual help, "getting together" all over the country, the pleasure of learning about new places and other countries, support through crises, some great viewpoints on "what new bikes to consider", and other things of mutual interest. And the "characters", my God the "characters" we have here ! Interesting people with such great life experiences, talents & skills !

And the dedicated guys who bring us The Cafe' every day.

I think after a year and a half or so, we know who & what we are and have matured into something unique, something of great value.
Not everyone's cup o' coffee, but that's fine with me. It it was, I would be looking other places. We have our niche, our purpose and it fills a void. It may be too "clubby" for some and that's OK...whatever we call it, however we define it, we have something very special here and I am so pleased & proud to be a small part of it.

The Motorcyclist Cafe' rocks ! :eusa_clap:

Sorry to rain on your parade but I would bet that about 20 of these are most likely search engine spiders....indexing our site. e.g. GoogleBot etc.

That said...even with that correction, we do have more people online than before. We may be doing something right. :)

This is a special place...

Broad depth of knowledge, fun, scale and scope throughout the world, yet not too big... and most important... interesting crew of enthusiasts with different perspectives.

Ed,

If you are referring to The Cafe, I agree with you. :pftroest:

Now . . . if you are referring to that juke joint that Dean and Will frequent . . . well I'm sure you understand. Some things are just better left unsaid.:icon_redface:
