thanks DJ ... If you check out the interview section on there latest r30 DVD they describe Hemispheres as one there hardest alums to produce up to that time .

I can remember in the growing up in the 70s in the town of Newmarket Ontario ( where I grow up and still live !) We would line up at the Odeon Theatre down on Main St to watch a movie . While in the line up it was always said to watch the convenient store across the street . Well that was a little store that Geddy Lee's mother owned and he would drop by from time to time to see her . Others said they had seen him and he would wave to the crowd .

Just a youthful moment from a now older RUSH fan !

Is Geddy gay....(not that there's anything wrong with that).

My friends think so...I'm not sure....just thought you might know.

La Villa Strangiato is the best Rush song ever..IMHO...I would love them to do a full instrumental album.

Is Geddy gay...
From what i've been told that he has a wife and children ( That doesn't mean anything !) I don't believe he is , but if you watch some of those interviews with his long hair , big GIRLIE glasses and listen how he talks . My eye brows went up a few times as I scratched my head wondering ....hmmmm maybe ???!!!!!!!

La Villa Strangiato is the best Rush song ever
I'm with you on that one and YYZ. I have always been a pre Grace under pressure , more toward the older albums . Alex's guitar playing was heavier harder rock style.

I would love them to do a full instrumental album
A buddy of mine has bootleg cd of RUSH doing like a rehearsal , they would playing the tunes , but Geddy wasn't doing any singing it was a mixed bag of tunes . They stop then start up again in between tunes , sometime you would just hear Alex playing the guitar then Neil would join in and Geddy might sing a little then stop. Strange enough it was great to listen to.

also..have you found the two easter eggs on the R30 dvd...
..sorry i haven't taken the time to look for them , but if find anything i'll let you know.

I was fortunate to see them twice in Toronto when they started touring again and was able to see the r30 live also . Watching Rush in RIO and r30 on dvd was pretty cool , cause it was like HEY i remember that ..I've seen the show live !

On the 'Rush – R30: 30th Anniversary World Tour' DVD the band has included two hidden features for fans to discover.
The first is on the disc’s Opening Menu. Simply hit the 'Right' arrow key on your remote control three times and the menu will reload with a new option, 'Rush Hits St. John's.' Select it and you will be able to see a cool clip.
Now go to the 'Interviews' section, accessible form the disc’s Main Menu. There, highlight the menu entry 'Interviews and Anthem Vault' and then hit the 'Right' arrow key three times. You will see the guy with the broom on the left of the screen turn yellow. Now press the 'Enter' key on your remote control and you will be treated to 'Alex's Interview for Artist of the Decade.

I'm with you on the old stuff...also Grace under pressure and Hold you fire are fav's....and YYZ on Rush in Rio is brilliant.

Very cool. I wonder what Max was doing in the ad. He's supposed to be home chewing on the carpet. :eusa_boohoo:
