This is the exact rider I am scared to "run" into on Angeles Crest Highway.

I love the guy that waves his friend back out in front, I assume so he provides further entertainment. Also, if you mount a camera to your bike, shouldn't you know how to ride?

BTW, I know the spot, & while the pavement isn't great, the curves are not a problem at anywhere close to sane speeds.

That guy should sell his bike today, and go back to whatever beer is his favorite. He'll either kill himself, others, or both. He couldn't have been going over 35mph, as he was crawling when he got to the shoulder. He also panicked & stood up the bike to stop. Lucky it wasn't a giant motorhome coming the other way.
That's a motorcycle owner (you can't call him a "rider") who has forgotten to respect the road & himself.
Soap Box [on]This is why cell phones/iPods/helmet cams/computers/cameras are all bad ideas. Motorcycling will punish you if you try to multitask. You can justify/rationalize headphones, bar-mounted cameras, and bluetooth cell phones, but they all distract from the task at hand - riding. The payment can be very, very expensive.

So then he puts it on YouTube. What a moron.
Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good..!

Darwin's Theory will catch up up with him if he continues to operate a motorcycle, I say operate because he sure as hell ain't riding.

As far as the other stuff on bikes, I have XM radio on my bike, but I only turn it on for long trips, never around town.

Yeah, but he can go really fast between the turns.
