I also love that last one.
It'd look great on a T, as would many of the others.
I have a few old BMW ones somewhere also. I'll send them to you DJ for posting.

Wow, I love the Italian stuff. I would love to have a couple of them as prints for my den.
Excellent stuff DJ. I picked up some postcards at the BMW Museum in Munich last July that would make a nice complement to these. I will drag them out the scrap book and get my daughter to scan them for me and will post them shortly.
I thought the Canadian ad was particularly interesting - far more interesting than the bland pap our government produces today!

Hot damn, boys! Beautiful, beautiful stuff..
I have some of those and now have captured the rest for my archive.
Please re-post these when the site is done and we have the "Eye Candy" or whatever we decide to call our images section.
Many of these will be great topic front page images when we rotate or change them.
Thanks!!:eusa_clap: :eusa_clap: :eusa_clap: :eusa_clap: :eusa_clap:

What might be the simplest and cheapest way to put these on a T?
Could they be printed onto some sort of iron on transfer paper?

Wonderfull! Eye-candy! :eusa_clap:
I could not help but smile, and wonder, if the Gilera poster would have been cause to have the whole lot banned, and DJ, in a former life? :037:
Another line would be dig out old pics of us/members early rides! I wish I had gotten/kept more!

This is my first post here so please be gentle if the pics do not appear :058:
First is Rollie Free on the Vincent at 150+ mph

Second is a cool Italian racer from the 50's pushing himself to the start line. You've got to love the cigarette.

Reminds me of the film of the late great Barry Sheene. His mum is on the finish line after a race with a cigarette ready lit for him before he even has his helmet off.

DJ,
Would you happen to know if I could get one of these as posters to frame? If not, where did you locate them...maybe I can figure something out.

478cc...
This is my first post here so please be gentle... We're a very gentle bunch here. Make yourself at home.
We have it on pretty good authority that the gentleman in the first pic however is Dean Lear. He was, at the time, DBA (doing business as) Rollie Free.

I was just by the local BMW dealer this morning to pick up a few parts. I snagged a BMW catalog and guess what...some of these vintage posters are offered by BMW as a set of 6 for an MSRP of $39. Very cool.
If anyone wants the part numbers....let me know.
