Motorsports are exciting, fun and many times dangerous. We all gain from the technology that driven people invent to make their machines faster and safer. Today's HP, brakes, tires, safety gear, suspension, tires again, etc. all benefit from the people who are inspired to be the fastest.
As any test pilot will tell you, you can't know the limits of a mchine until someone finds them.
