Well, isn't this just peachy!
I buy this bike to commute to work for my last year before retirement. The plan is to fix it up and make it rideable for my wife to use when we retire. This will be her bike when we move since she only rides short trips in perfect weather. Her skills are not kept top notch due to her infrequent two wheel excursions. We both agree on this plan and I jump in with both feet.
The bike has been purchased, broken in and the appropriate upgrades have been made (K&N's, rejet carbs and Muzzy exhaust). All to the tune of about $600.00 for the upgrades.
Now she changes her mind!!
"I think I want another cruiser like my Honda Shadow" she says. "What the F#%*" I say ( or thought :icon_redface:)
Oh well...I realized a long time ago that my reason for existence on this blue orb was to keep her happy!
This is a great bike that is fun to ride. I have decided to sell it now before I put a lot of miles on it and buy myself a commuter that I will want to keep and ride the backroads after retirement. Probably some sort of dualsport.
Mileage is around 2200 with about 30 added per working day.
Asking price is $2975.00
