I figure I better finish up now before somebody beats me.

Actually - the first post came at 1806 and was by Promethean - but we are all pioneers here!

I think BobFV is lurking about somewhere, & he may have the 1st post. This softwear, IMHO, looks very nice, when we learn how looks like all kinds of colors, font sizes, fonts & just alot of options. We'll have to learn picture posting here too.:)

Yeppers, that's a brand-spanking new 1957 Sears Allstate (by Puch) 500CC moped, straight from the catalog. $214 as I recall...a lot of money for a 13 year old to scratch up throwing newspapers and mowing lawns.:eek:
And I was free, FREE...Thank God Almighty I was FREE at last!:D
Free to do wheelies, crash, get hit by a car, get a ticket, catch on fire.:mad:
But also free to go hang out with the guys who had real motorcycles and a pack O' Luckies rolled up in their T-shirt sleeves. Black leather jackets, DA hair cuts, Engineer boots with horseshoe taps on the heels to make that cool sound walking down the hall at school and showering sparks at night going down the hill in front of Jo Beth Potter's house (she let me feel of her falsies once...I was making progress. The Holy Grail was down a real l-o-n-g street and around the corner!):p
It was Summertime and I was 14...

Well here we are, we finally arrived, through the hard work of a number of dedicated workers. Thank you guys.

In a couple of days the Doug Board will only be a bad memory. Actually, now that I think about it, it was the 1150 board, which brought us all together. So instead of a bad memory, I guess it is more like the Theory of Evolution in action. We have evolved into a higher life form. :)

I wonder why we have to agree to such a rule to join? Do we want to enforce that rule? I'm sure you in the planning gang have figured all that out... but it seems silly, to start this venture with some rules, that are nebulous, (sound familiar?), and rules that may or may not be enforced depending on who decides what obscene, vulgar, hateful, etc...

Anyway, it's nice to have a place that's not DOUG'S! :eek:
