A close friend has a unique Suzuki DRZ 400 Supermotard for sale! Street legal, with just 2,600 miles, he's massaged it into perfection as follows:

Under warranty until Nov., expertly broken in, Black; carb internals re-done with Dyno Jet kit and extended air screw for one the fly altitude adjustments (You have to know just how in depth Bruce is about this stuff to appreciate this), completely dialed suspension, front and rear; Bruce says he can feel the difference with each click, FMP Power Core exhaust with street insert (for noise), Pro Taper handlebars, Acerbis top of the line trick handguards, Acerbis Supermotard front fender, rear fender mods, carbon fiber-look turn signals, modified chainguard, Clark Plastics 3.9 gallon black fuel tank, Dunlop 208 Supermotard tires, K&N air filter and air box modifications, always on battery tender, trick GP mirrors, Motul oil, and Bruce says it's right around 270#!

$6,500. And perfect condition. Better than new. Contact Bruce at <praterbs@sbcglobal.net>
Wish I could buy this one! The bike is in the California Bay Area and the owner is a 62 year old expert mechanic/rider.

Will,

Sounds like that bike would be the ultimate California urban commuter. 50moph racing between the bohemouths. What could be more fun or adrenaline producing?

WW - he should post this bike on http://supermotojunkie.com/index.php?

With all these (correct) mods, he shouldn't have any problem selling this bike. If Suzuki had made this same SM bike w/ the SV650 motor, I'd own one in a NY minute. If the Japanese would just take opinion polls of MC owners.....

The SV650 can be converted.......!!

Collyer,

In most cases, they don't want your opinions, just your money...

That's the SM bike Suzi SHOULD have made! I don't think the Jap. factories have a complete handle on the market, or if they ever will. Yamaha still doesn't sell a dual sport over here, for example. I'll pass that link to my friend. He said his mods did enhance power and handling by a nice margin from stock.
