For the second month in a row this vendor/entity/whatever has charged a non-trivial amount to our checking account. The amounts do not match anything we've purchased, and we're disputing the charges. I'm guessing this is an online payment processing service of some sort. Does anyone know for sure?

Time to close/open a new acct w/ your bank.
Once your bank acct # is "out".... it's a free-for-all.
If it's on a credit card, someone's been clicking on pop-up ads or porn sites (like those really exist).

It's a credit card payment processing ID...similar to one that Citibank uses. Not sure whose. I assume UCS is the credit card provider.
Edit:
Based on a Google search....it seems to be a credit card payment processing service based in Russia. Apparently AT&T's card division used to partner with them.

Never mind, false alarm, fortunately. It's the processing service for one of our credit cards. Don't know why that didn't ring a bell sooner, but unfortunately there is no disputing these. :003:
I just wish these charges had been labeled more clearly... that would have saved me hours of identity theft anxiety.

For the future, if you have any problems just email me your ss number, driver's license number, bank account info & mother's maiden name. I will take care of everything from there.
