Man, Dean...
Both of those pictures are the TITZ!
The second one is most definitely my favorite, but the guy in the first one is plowing a bow wave that's HUGE! Just look at how much higher the water is ahead of the tank compared to the rear bags...
DAMN!
Cheers!

That second pic reminds me of you and I on our way back to Alpine on the Big Bend ride. We both got into the "ZONE".

I frequently visit ADVrider site just to scroll through the pictures. There are some really fantastic photos over there. I would consider it the premier internet site for motorcyling photos and ride reports of adventure riding. Those are some good examples, but only scratch the surface.
Re the R1200GS knee dragger: that bike can go, I will tell you. I ride mine only on the street. But I have been to a track day where the GS was on the track. I can tell you, the guy on his GS was smokin' everyone except on the long straights, when speeds of 125 plus were being reached by 600's and liter bikes before turn in. But the GS was right up there again in the turns in no time, and passing a lot of guys through all the turns.
Won't be long and we will be having expanded pics here, too, I think.

Fantastic pics. Just a dumb question though.....what keeps the bike from dying in the water?

Yeah - more importantly, what keeps it from aspirating water and then dying? I think that is one of those manuvers "you can only do once..."
Oh - and the dude on the GS doesn't neet that much lean angle with that much "hang off" - IMO. Nice bike though, and I agree, the 1200GS can rip up at the track!

Darn, Dean-O that fellow in the water had to be ready to bail out......the air snorkel is under water!!!!!!!
Great balls though.....that is one sure way to get a perfectly good GS fried:icon_cry:
