I'm off to see the Doctor, the Texas Tornado and the Kentucky Kid...
Yep, in just 12-1/2 hours I will be catching the big bird to California for the 2006 Laguna Seca MotoGP race, and I'm stoked!!!
Should be one hell of a race, expecially with so many riders still capable of winning the championship. I'm gonna' try ot take even more pictures than last year if I can, and maybe even get some additional ones of Ron, Donna, Alex, Ed, and our other Cafe's riders that make it there. Icing on the cake would be a room as good as last year's overlooking Cannery Row again so I can snag more pics of the seemingly endless motorcycle parade of rare and interesting machines.
Man, I wish everyone of you on the board here was going to be there, and all I can say is that if you have never been try to start making plans now for 2007. Crowd estimates for last years three-day attendance was right at 160,000, and some are predicting as many as 210,000 for this year's event. It may seem like a lot of people, but by and large it is all motorcycle people, and what a great bunch. It could only be better with even more Cafe' riders there! :eusa_clap:
If you can't be there I heartily suggest you catch on the TV Sunday afternoon. It should one hell of a dogfight.
