Dave Waterman (BMW Dave 52) and I road down this dirt road on our way back to Show Low from Torrey last summer. No shoulders, over a 1000 Ft. drop he on his R1150R and me on my ST.

Very nice collection Dean-O, that surely is one quick way to get the juices flowing...........and reminds us what little things in life make a diference.

Like a nice place to visit, good roads to ride and a collection of friends to enjoy it with.....and of course, Dallara"s attention to detail!!

Regards,

Al

Some more just to tax your IE connection....and to remind all of us just how fortunate we are. It could all be gone tomarrow.

This is a road that the first time I road on it some 30 years ago, gravel at that time always with out exception completely un nerves riders that have grown up in the flat lands as you have no horozontal referance, either side. for about 5 miles it follows a spine with no shoulders on either side and with out guard rails and 1000 Ft. down, both sides. Hwy 12 going into Torrey. The only place to stand and take a pic is either end.

The canyon country.

If you look closely in the middle, you will see Dave Waterman on that gravel road shown earlier.

I stopped on that gravel road to take a pic.
