Ran across a group of Hells Angels and Nomads on a road trip at the Bear Wallow. Belive it or not, the guy to my right (pic left) used to own a BMW dealership in North Dakota or some where up north, he loved my ST.

The guys on my right are Hells Angels and on my left, Nomads.

They were actually a bunch of nice guys.

DeanO,

You are an American original, my man! You have to be the only guy in the world who could ride in to a remote New Mexico whistle stop cafe on a shiny BMW and have a bunch of thug bikers pose for a picture with you, all smiling and stuff. If that would have been me on my GS with my little BMW Savanna II jacket those guys would have bent me over a barstool and anally raped me with a Bud longneck, then they would have pissed on my bike, and told the waitress that I was paying their check!

You are the one and only, original Old Hoon!

The guy on the right was the pres of the Nomads. They noticed that the tires on the ST had no chicken strips and thought that was cool.

"...They noticed that the tires on the ST had no chicken strips and thought that was cool..."

Did you tell them you left the chicken strips in Texas?
Or have you blown through *another* set already?

You need to stay home and get my bedroom ready...

Funny you should ask, the rear tire is gone.. I'll be ordering tires for the KLR and ST from SW Mototires.

did you and the guys bond for real and did you get your Red Wings? I knew you were a badass when I first saw you, at that BMW rally, and you were the only guy there without a pocket protector with pens, tire gauge, thermometer and tire tread gauge; I knew you were a take no prisoners epic hound dog gnarly ass road burner. Can you score me some "colors" Dean-O? Please?
And Dave's right; get back on track with our bedrooms.
