I've watched it a few times now and can't see how Pedrosa pipped Stoner for third spot..it looks like Stoner got it from where I sit.

Yeah... and he almost took the prize... Ugh! That must have hurt... and I am not talking about the fall.

But Nicky certainly earned the win.

What that footage doesn't show is how quickly Colin regained his ground on Nicky after letting him by. Nicky came very close to biffing it in the very same place as Colin, only he managed to keep it upright through the marbles.
Laguna Seca will be veryinteresting.
