Thanks for letting us know...I registered with them in the begining...I thought they would let me know when it's avalible...the buggers.

Anyone who gets it let me know what its like and if its worth it..I was about to order it and $20 odd dollars turned into $70-$80 for me so I passed for the moment.

DJ,

Since it is claimed to be a Preview edition, I'm holding on to my cash. When Faster came out it had all sorts of stuff on it, so I'm hoping this will turn out the same way.

Is some one buys it -- and it's GOOD... send it to me, I'll copy it for everyone in my special club for $5 a piece. No, really. Call it a "group buy".

Sounds good..what a great guy..:045: ..I say we all send you $5..and you buy it and keep it..would that work?...........................and arklin's right.

Because it's by the people who did Faster...the fans who rushed to buy that would have been pissed off when they soon after released the two disc version.

your new logo made me horney. Nothing like a sweaty hippie chick, tired from all that musical undulation, barking like a golden lab...
Very clever. What talent! I may paint it on my front door (of the shop, not the house).

I just got this LOUD email:

FROM THE FILMMAKERS TO THE FANS

IT’S HERE -- our latest film, THE DOCTOR, THE TORNADO AND THE KENTUCKY KID, and it’s available NOW from our website at http://www.dtkmovie.com

Modesty prevents us from telling you how great the movie is, so here are some words from Chris Jonnum, editor of Road Racer X magazine:

‘As with any subculture, it's the personalities that make MotoGP interesting, and because of the filmmakers' unprecedented access to these people--riders, obviously, but also crews and families--DTK provides a fresh and insightful perspective on an exciting sport and
event. As with FASTER, it's obvious that Mark Neale and friends 'get' MotoGP.’
-- Chris Jonnum, Road Racer X

The DVD on sale on our website is the Preview Edition. This is a limited edition which will be on sale for four months only. It contains the 95 minute movie (but no extras or subtitles) and comes to you straight from the filmmakers, so when you buy this, you’re helping us as well as - we hope you’ll agree - getting yourselves some excellent entertainment.

The Collectors Edition DVD, with DVD extras and subtitles, will be available towards the end of the year (November looks likely for the US release) but it all depends on deals with distribution companies so we cannot be sure at this stage.

If you want the movie now – and believe me, there’s no better way to get ready for Laguna in ten days time – go to http://www.dtkmovie.com

Your DVD will ship within 48 hours. Your payment will go to Dr. Flix – that’s us, the filmmakers.

This is a movie by fans for fans. I hope we’ll run into some of you at Laguna, and I hope you enjoy the movie.

Thanks for your support!

Mark Neale

Director,
FASTER and THE DOCTOR, THE TORNADO AND THE KENTUCKY KID

I'm in no hurry to buy it, especially if it eventually comes to Amazon with more footage/features added. I love to read a review - I'll still probably get it at some point - and if copies are necessary..... :114:

If you can't get the movie fast enough, try this alternative as a stop gap measure, i.e., fix for what ails the MotoGP fandom. http://media.putfile.com/MotoGP-Animals

I could watch that clip again and again..I love the rear view on that red bike smokin' up the rear..right at the half way point through the clip.
