I have a bud who raced dirt bikes many years ago in Alaska. He tells of the time he was poised at the start, leaning out over the front wheel, keeping the revs up. The flag dropped and he dumped the clutch only to discover that the bike had fired on the kickback. Needless to say he was tossed neatly over the bars and onto his ass in front of the bike, god and everybody else in attendance.

Would've loved seeing that.

My Penton Jackpiner did that to me once, fortunately not at the start of a race though! What a ball buster.
Only a handful of my riding buds saw it and they were all very sympathetic.
