I've been procrastinating on replacing the fuel line plastic quick disconnects on my 04 RR with 30K miles. I'm planning to do the fuel filter and it would be a good time to take care of these. Does anyone have a recommendation on a suitable replacement and a source for same?

Thanks!

Why would you want to replace them? The only issues I'm aware of was leaking due to the clamps not being crimped enough. I just replaced my clamps at 38K with BMW clamps. You can use 14mm fuel injector clamps from an auto parts store. The difference in price is only about 50 cents more for the BMW clamps.

The problem is that in addition to the clamp problems, the plasic quick disconnects can get brittle and crack or break. I had one split at about 15K miles. It was the service manager at Iron Horse BMW that recently suggested I have the stock ones replaced with metal ones for reliability.
