2004 K1200RS Oil Leak???

Today I found a oil leak on my valve cover. So I removed the body panels and found that the number one throttle-valve has a lot of oil on and around it. :104:

My K-Bike will be in the shop Thursday for its 24K. At which time I plan to bring this problem to the shops attention.:037:

I’m not sure how the throttle valve could be leaking oil…Any insight on this problem…? :eusa_eh:

I had two leaks on my KRS. Both were seals on the front of the engine. My only guess would be to check and see if the oil isn't migrating back from the front cover area. Lucky you have the service scheduled. In any case, it will be a warranty issue.
