This the finest road bike I've ever owned. A very special bike.
It's name is Victoria.
Magellan sailed with 5 ships to be the first to sail around the World. He died enroute, two turned back, 2 perished, and the first ship to ever sail around the World was, Victoria.

I've had other bikes that felt very strong and durable. This machine strikes me as being the first one that I feel confident I could enter the 24 hrs. of LeMans. With a set of spare wheels and tires, and some brake pads, my team could at a minimum finish the event. Tape off the tach at 80% and go.

Bake - beautiful bike. I think I stayed in that hotel last year when I was doing some consulting for Cessna.

A very fitting name for the bike as well!

No tickets ..yet. I find that on ramps onto roadways have taken on a new thrill. The cruise control is Absolutely accurate, so I set it and forget it to avoid performance awards. Ride on the balls of the feet with just the fingertips touching the grips.:020:

Thanks for the comments on the pics. I took dozens and got maybe 2 good ones.:eusa_shhh:

I always found the esthetics of that K series to be the most fluid. Haven't ridden one, but know plenty of guys who seem to like to ride zillions of miles on theirs. The white and navy combo is nice, too.

That's a fine ride Bake!
The more I think about true cruise control on big fast bikes, the more sense it makes...
