Handy Lift has come out with a home shop model of the lift used in most motorcycle shops. This is worth its weight in gold. The Handy Lift is the standard of the industry.

Wow, Dean...

Thanks!

That looks like it might be a *must have* in the "Supertanker's" and "Me-262's" garage mooring pier and hanger.

Cool...

Cheers!

Handy seems to be getting much more innovative...and competitive...in the face of so much competition these days.
Off-shore direct knock-off clones abound as do every kind of rickety-assed scissor action support lift table you can imagine!
And then there are the scary little hydraulic jack under-bike lifts like you can get at Manny, Moe & Jacks'. Good grief...
One of our vendors tried to sell us one that looks like an operating table but with *no lift mechanism*! You would have to get a ramp and a couple of stout lads to get the bike up on it. Their response was "Hey, it's only $200.00 retail!" We passed, thank God.
Handy is the gold-standard but I've noticed the sheet metal in the standard models has gotten a bit flimsy.

I really do not need a lift that is so overdone. Does anyone have a recommendation for a simple stand that works well at supporting bike during wheel removal.

Well, the centerstand works well enough. But I LIKE that Handy Lift.!
