as tough as MotoGP was extra special but there were no wheelies or burnouts nor any waving to the crowd.
Wait till you see John Hopkins's wheelie that Suzuki across the finish line...wow!...t'was good.
btw...John said he banged his elbow on the track during turn two in practice...and I thought just getting a knee down was good.
This was one great race for American fans...:eusa_clap:
more results here.. http://www.motorsport.com/news/article.asp?ID=217773

Besides the missing front fender, I can't see the wires from his iPod - maybe he can afford wireless headphones?
There's a lovely blur where his f-fender ought to be, probably a nice chunk of French rubber that's about to hurl itself off (no doubt that's what took off the fender, too).

Wow, what happened there? Just a big hunk of roadlike rash? I'd a gotten off when I first felt it. Too bad he pulled in to get a rear and then found out he was figuring wrong for which end went south.
Altogether though, it was a crackin' race. I'm loving this season better'n better every race. Mostly because these are real races. Swap me some lead, dude!
It really looks like the Repsol Hondas are dialed in pretty well. And Suzuki seems to have finally gotten a rideable machine under Hopkins. Think they're using a lot of those rolling papers? Rossi is having trouble steering when the tank is full? And his tires are sloughing off chunks? What gives with that? Edwards did himself proud, least ways most of the time.
Laguna is a bit more than two months off. I can hardly contain my enthusiasm...prolly piss myself in anticipation or some other such senior moment thing...I guess it all Depends.

Broke off the CF fork protector/fender mount. Were those Cheng Shin tires, or Maxxis?
Is that an ABS sensor next to the rotor?
Maybe THAT'S what failed & tore up the tire/fender - you know Yamaha DOES sell a model w/ ABS.
