Looks like I'll be teaching here in Virginia as soon as this week. I was able to meet the state program coordinator today and to sit in on a class of RiderCoach candidates doing the peer teacher portion of their training. Man, that sure seems like a long time ago for me, even though it really wasn't. Tomorrow I will go spend some time getting checked out on the range and then I should be good to go - there is no state license here and a shortage of instructors, so I will be able to pick up some classes right away, I think. I will be teaching at the Alexandria campus of Northern Virginia Community College.
Well - that's about it for now. I will keep you posted and let you know the difference between state programs.

Thanks for the sentiment, Arizonans, but it looks like I will be teaching in both places for a while. Completed my update here in Virginia and I am good to teach, but next weekend I am riding Odysseus back to AZ and teaching a BRC there the following weekend. I hope I can still get back in the dead of winter and teach classes at the school in Gilbert.
Will write more about the differences in programs once I have done a little more teaching here in VA.

I'd be interested in hearing of those differences. Are any other ridercoaches on the list going to make the SMSA conference in Austin, Tx this year?
