I am selling my 1989 Black Toyota Pickup Xtracab 4x4 automatic SR5 for $1450 OBO. The truck has 261k and the 3.0L V6 runs strong. When I bought the truck it needed a new head, so I replaced that and haven't had issues with it since. It has new belts, and I replaced the battery when I bought it 2 years ago. The frame is solid as is the bed, barely any surface rust on the truck. New BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO tires. The last CA inspection expired in June 2011. I haven't had it renewed.
Now the bad. The cab and fenders have dents, some are quite large. The rear bumper has also rusted in half and I got rid of it. The windshield is cracked down low, and one of the rear windows has cracked. Also, I towed this truck here on a tow dolly from IL and didn't remove the driveshaft. This burned up the automatic transmission. The truck does NOT move and will need to be towed. The transmission has been removed and all parts are with the truck. All you would need to do is put in a new auto tranny. I don't have the time to work on this truck and need to have it sold.
No trades. I need the money from this truck to buy a replacement vehicle. The truck is parked at the corner of Eagle Rock Rd and Little Bear Way, in San Jose, if you want to look at it.
