Hey Collins, here's your Buell.
Sell a Harley, 14 little Hondas and 8 cats and it will be free!
Or offer trade...

That's not a lot of money for such a nice bike, you couldn't get one here for anything like that price. Good luck with the sale Mr.Dog!

Why does it have a new belt, Dog?
Was there damage to pulleys, or.....?
Was there a recall on rear wheel bearings, or damage?
No offense, I just dont like the look of the newer bikes. My 98 Buell looked like a motorcycle.
The new bikes, not just Buell, are a confusing amalgam of conflicting angles and shapes.
They look like the designer stood back and tossed a bunch of shapes at a blank canvas.
I like a headlight that looks like a headlight, not an insect from another galaxy.
I guess that is why the newest bike in the shed is an 06. It actually looks like a motorcycle.
However, if someone wants to send Me a new ZX-14, I can overlook the insect face thing......

Why does it have a new belt, Dog?
Was there damage to pulleys, or.....?
No damage. I bought a spare belt when I bought the bike. I decided to put it on the last time I replaced the rear tire. I now use the original belt as a spare.
Was there a recall on rear wheel bearings, or damage?
No recall. For 2010 Buell went with an improved wheel bearing which is identified by a black grease seal instead of the early red. I replaced the old style with new when I last changed the rear tire.

I just wondered about the belt, etc, that is a very high mileage item. As I said, nothing personal, to each His own.
That was not intended as an attack on You, or Your bike, You didnt design it.

Yea, me too BD. I've ridden an XT and its one of the best Buell ever did. Great motor, awesome seating postion, belt drive, great brakes, great handling. I just find myself about 6 grand short of funds or it'd be my new commuter.

Due to the time difference I saw that just before turning in last night, a chuckle at bedtime is well worth the price of admission here!
It is and I did. eventually AFTER the trailer queens left...
The funny postscript to that remark is that, right about the New Mexico border, two Harley riders passed us. They looked at the two BMW's on the trailer and laughed as they rode by!

Don,
How can you afford $12.50 an hour? At that rate I bet you can only to stay for two hours at a time.
