Might be good on a visor huh!
Do you think that gortex might be obsolete if this stuff takes off?
I see it incorporated in a vehicle wax treatment...never need to wash the bike or car again!

What other everyday applications might you envisage?

Interesting video. Wouldn't that be great to have a riding suit, boots and (especially!) gloves coated with that stuff?

When my wife finds out that this stuff will repel ketchup, mustard, etc., she'll be spraying me down every morning.

I wonder how fast My sailboat would go, if I painted the hull with it?:004:

Now that's just cool. I'm like you Don, it's just got to make all boats slide through the water. Think about the rain suits we could have with that stuff. Ms Pam could just spray down Dean's shorts and save on Depends...The list goes on and on.

Waterproof leather.
Spray the inside of helmets to keep the grungies out.
Bikes, windscreens & helmets would stay cleaner and bugs wouldn't stick to anything.
Spray new vehicle interiors.
Spray Don's 73 cats.
Coat exterior house windows. No more window washing!
Coat dishes, pots & pans, etc. No more dish washing!
Coat the kids.
I wonder if it glosses up like Simonize?
I wonder if it provides UV protection?

We need a group buy on this stuff!

Amazing! As someone who works outside that stuff would be a great addition to my gore tex.
I hope its not 'to good to be true'.

How about a mesh application: coat individual fibers before they're woven into our fabrics. This would maybe lend itself to being breathable fabric while being impervious to liquid (or at least slick enough for water to bead up/run off before having a chance to be driven into and thus through the fabric.)

I expect the applications to be endless. However, I wonder what industries this may put out of action, and the pressure that may be imposed on the sanctioning of the product, and the eventual cost.

Box, very interesting thought. It will be fastinating to see how this evolves.
