Last night, I installed this tail-light on the RR with a setting of long (2 secs).
For those who are interested in this mod....it's a well designed package. It takes about 10-15 minutes to install and is virtually plug and play. Take your time getting the board into the stock tail-light assembly....its a tight fit.
I had the opportunity to check out the effect on my way to work this morning. It works as advertised....cagers stop way way back. The pulsing light must freak them out or something. This is definitely a mod that I'd recommend.

Did you do the Hyper Lites like Frank or just the tail light?

Just the tail-light. Hyperlites probably require some wire splicing to be done. Icky stuff. Didn't want to mess with it.

I've had both the HyperLites and the Brake!. Personally, I like the Brake! best. It's a cleaner installation and they appear to be brighter to me. Also, the HyperLites seemed much more directional. Since the Brake! is installed inside the tail light lense, its light is refracted so it's not as directional as bare LEDs.

Which LED tailight bulb did you get?
Last WE I got a two pack # 1157 led bulb set from the local Autozone for $16. Replaces the stock bulb - works great.

Brian,
This is the URL for the unit. Not sure I understand your question correctly though.

Several months ago I saw units in the $69 -120 range - did not really take too much notice then.
The two pack $16 bulb set I bought are by Jamstrait.com. A direct replacement for the stock bulb and at $8 a piece not too bad. Probably not as bright and full as the one you have, but a significant improvement over stock.
The bulb has 12 LED's
