Remember when you were a kid, you'd get a new pair of Keds and you just KNEW you could run faster and jump higher and longer than ever?

Well, that's how the R1200ST felt this morning riding to fellowship breakfast with her new Pilot Road 3s!

The steering is sooooooooooo much lighter. Turn in is soooooooooooo much more precise. She SNAPS upright out of corners.

I guess those PR2s the PO had on her were pretty squared off as well as six years old HARD. :041:

BSEG!

Very interested to hear your assessment of the PR3s, compared the PR2s...even if the 2s were a 6 years old.

I have heard some mixed feedback that indicated the PR3s were not as good in the dry as the 2s, but not sure how accurate that feedback was.

As they continue to get scrubbed, please advise!

Will do. And we can cuss and discuss tyres/tires at the B&B.

Cool Bob.
Let's do some bike swapping and compare your new PR3s and my favorite Dunlop Street Smarts.
We'll have to figure out how to "normalize" our impressions with an R1200ST vs an R1150R!

Bob, I'd like to try your ST with the 3's as I would spoon new 2's every 5 or 6,000 miles on my ST, about 2 or so sets a year, I loved them.

I am following closely what others are puting on their K16's, a lot have installed the 3's on their K16GT, baring any contrary info, that is my plan.

By the way, anyone can have tires shipped to the MC B&B if needed, we have everything needed.
