I wanted to bleed the clutch so I ordered a speedbleeder of the appropriate size. I've never had a problem with the bleeder screws on the brake callipers.

I tried to remove the grub screw but looks like I stripped the head (on the little black thing in the bottom of the red-shaded box). Merde!!!!

An allen wrench will no longer work. Can I take out the black cylinder (http://www.maxbmwmotorcycles.com/fiche/ShowImage.aspx?image=NotesParts/32722333158_1_B.jpg) in its entirety without bothering with the little black allen screw thingy and replace it with the speedbleeder like someone has from advrider? Or does the black cylinder have to be in place to bleed the clutch?

I'd appreciate any advice you guys might have.

Ab, I tossed the whole thing on my son's R1150RSA and replaced it with a Speedbleeder. No problems.

Whew....that's a relief. Thanks Bob!

That damn thing just didn't want to come off. I even heated up the assembly to make sure that I could take it off in case of loctite.

I'll replace the entire thing with a SB.

Thanks again.
