My cylinder heads are covered in oil from the time that I overfilled it a while ago and is collecting grime. What's the best way to get it off? Simple Green?

Curious minds want to know. :)

Thanks.

Simple Green is my choice. I have 2 spray bottles always around. One is cut 50/50 with water...which is what I'd use for your application and another full strength for really cleaning.
Just be sure to do it with the bike cool and flush with lots of water. BTW..it's really good for cleaning your hands as well.

Another thing is S100, great stuff but spendy....I buy Simple Green at the local Lowes by the gallon.

I have had good luck with S100, as Bob said, it is spendy.

Gunk? Jizer? I have no idea if they're available there though..

We used to use Gunk back in the olden days (when I was young) but I don't see it much nowdays.

I use Simpe Green as well. Simple Green makes a degreaser too, which I've used with good results.

Abs,
Add me to the Simple Green list. Like others I use a 50/50 for most cleaning and increase the Green stuff ratio for harder grime. We use it all the time on the racecar with good results.
