This is rich...and funny! And it seems obvious the fat lady has not yet yodelled.
I wonder if anyone has told the M-GP crowd about the problems & concerns?
I just love the idea of riding a bicycle way out there and having a community garden we can tend before the race! Can't forget though, it is Austin where we keep our retarded politicians
If they'd just get Bruton Smith & Ross Perot Jr. down there, they could sort it all in a week.

The race track people just haven't greased the right palms yet. There's money to be made from the race, the track people just have to make sure the right people are the ones who will be making it. "Green initiatives" indeed.

You know, I can't help but think the 13 year contract with F1 secured by the new street circuit in New Jersey has something to do with this too.
All proving yet once again, when it comes to racing, it's not a done deal until it's a done deal.
Maybe Dean will guaranty that letter of credit and it will happen after all...?

Sadly reminds me of VIR pulling out of the AMA Pro series at the last moment earlier this year.
